CHECKED VISIBLE WIRING FOR SENSORS NO DAMAGE TO ANY WIRES OR CONNECTORS FOUND. SUSPECT HIDDEN WIRE DAMAGE OR POSSIBLE BAD PCM. TEST DROVE WITH SCANNER CONNECTED MONITORING SPEED SENSORS, NO ERRORS OCCURRED. AFTER CODES WERE CLEARED THEY DID NOT RETURN ON THE TEST DRIVE. WE MAY NEED TO WAIT UNTIL THERE IS A MORE CONSISTENT FAILURE. RADIO HEAD UNIT APPEARS TO BE A SEPARATE ISSUE. RADIO COMES AND GOES AT RANDOM AND WILL NOT TURN ON WHEN COMMANDED TO. POSSIBLY A BAD HEAD UNIT ITSELF.

    • CUSTOMER CAME IN WITH 3 CODES RELATING TO MISFIRE AND CRANK SENSOR. SAID TRANSMISSION HAD A MIS-SHIFT AND STAYED IN SECOND GEAR. FOUND CAM SHAFT, CRANK SHAFT CORRELATION OFF. IT WAS AN INTERMITTENT PROBLEM SO TECH WANTED TO DO BOTH SENSORS. TRANSMISSION GETS SIGNAL FROM WHAT THESE SENSORS ARE DOING. THAT MAY BE CAUSING THE TRANSMISSION SHIFT TO BE OFF. WE REPLACED BOTH SENSORS, CLEARED ALL CODES AND TOOK FOR A LONG TEST DRIVE. ALL GOOD AT THIS TIME.

REMOVED THROTTLE BODY TO CHECK FOR BLOCKAGE, NONE FOUND. CLEANED AND RETESTED, STILL WILL NOT CLOSE ALL THE WAY. APPEARS TO BE DAMAGE IN THE MOTOR GEAR ASSEMBLY. RECOMMEND THROTTLE BODY REPLACEMENT AND RETEST.
